ABOUT NUMORIX
Numbers are easier
when they're explained.
Numorix is a growing library of practical calculators built around one simple idea: an answer is more useful when you understand how it was reached.
What we build
Every calculator on Numorix is built as a standalone tool with its own calculation engine, inputs, validation, and results. We do not use generic templates or copy existing calculators. Each tool is designed around the specific problem it solves, whether that is estimating a mortgage payment, understanding compound interest, or converting between unit systems.
How we work
Our process starts with understanding the real question a person is trying to answer. From there, we identify the right formula or method, implement it with clear inputs and outputs, and test it against known results. We validate edge cases, handle error states, and make sure the interface stays focused on what matters.
What we show
Every result on Numorix is backed by a visible calculation. We show the formula when it helps, break down the steps where possible, and label every assumption. If a calculator uses a simplified model, we say so. If there are limitations to the method, we note them.
Our standards
- Original calculation engines — not wrappers around someone else's code
- Input validation and edge-case handling on every tool
- Clear results with visible formulas and steps where applicable
- No sign-up walls, paywalls, or misleading claims
- Responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and desktops
- Accessibility: keyboard-navigable, readable, and usable without JavaScript animations
What we don't do
Numorix does not provide financial, tax, legal, or medical advice. Our calculators produce educational estimates based on the information you enter. Before making decisions based on our results, consult a qualified professional who understands your specific situation.
Accuracy and testing
Every calculator goes through automated testing to verify its core formulas against known results. We test across multiple viewports and devices, check for runtime errors, and validate that inputs and outputs behave correctly. Our test suite runs thousands of checks across every calculator on the site.
